Principal Bio's

James R. Schifiliti , President

Jim Schifiliti graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1970 with a Bachelors Degree in Technical Education and an Associates Degree in Fire Protection Technology. Jim Schifiliti is CEO of FSCI, in Elgin, Illinois. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association ( NFPA) and served on the NFPA 231D Storage of Rubber Tires Committee. He currently serves on the NFPA 24 Private Fire Service Mains and Their Appurtenances; NFPA 13, Chapter 10 committee; and the NFPA 72 Fire Alarm Committee, Chapter 10 committee. He is an associate member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. He is a member of the International Code Council (ICC) and served on the International Fire Code Development Committee – 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. He is a member of the ICC Terrorist Building Committee. He serves on the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) Material Review Committee and the Advisory Board of the Oklahoma State University School of Fire Protection and Safety.

 

Keith Frangiamore, Vice President-Operations

Keith Frangiamore graduated from Harper College with an Associates Degree in Fire Service Technology. Keith is Vice President of Operations at FSCI in Elgin, Illinois with 30 years experience in fire protection. FSCI represents hundreds of municipal and private clients around the world with offices in Illinois and Michigan. He is a member of NFPA 101 – Life Safety Code (Education and Day-Care subcommittee), NFPA 5000 – Building Construction and Safety Code, NFPA 1201 - Standard for Developing Fire Protection Services for the Public, NFPA 1250 – Recommended Practice in Emergency Service Organization Risk Management. He is a member of the Illinois Fire Inspectors Association, Wisconsin Fire Inspectors Association, International Code Council, IAPMO and NWBOCA.

 

Warren Olsen, Vice President–Building Division

Warren Olsen graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Fire Service Management and attended the Fire Science Technology program at Harper College. Warren is the Vice President – Building Division at FSCI in Elgin, Illinois. He last served as the Battalion Chief for the Hoffman Estates Fire Department in his 30 year career and has provided building and fire code consulting to municipalities and fire districts for over 30 years. Warren is a member of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), NFPA 72 committee, ICC International, Illinois Fire Inspectors’ Association, Illinois Fire Chiefs Association, and Illinois Professional Firefighters’ Association
